Dongle is Tiago Vidigal from Lisbon / Portugal
Dongle was founded somewhere in 2000, exploring the progressive side of psychedelic trance, with dark ambiences, but exhilarating atmospheres and joining the musicality of several aspects of music that I’ve always been into.
Being a party lover, I was aware of all emotional connections and environments, which music and all its components created in a dance floor. For me, playing as DJ, in several parties in Portugal in 1999, I felt the need to start building a studio for more in depth production. A year later, Dongle was really born.
Enrolling in a permanent studio development, involved in hundreds of hours of work and pleasure composing, Dongle presents itself with a deep-progressive house with psychedelic trance influences and detailed grooves, thus making it an abstract fusion between diverse forms of electronic dance music.
